You'll have the opportunity to help greet members, check them in for the event, and help crew the concession stand. Opportunity OverviewShifts: 7pm-8pm, 8pm-9pm & 9pm-10pm. Volunteers are welcome to do 1, 2 or all 3 shifts! Training: You'll meet your event lead inside the main lobby of the Museum for a quick training. Volunteer: SLI Summer VolunteersThe Summer Learning Institute (SLI) focuses on art, science, and history, with many interactive and engaging learning experiences for students 5-13 years of age. All classes are taught by education professionals over an eight-week schedule with assistance from this volunteer opportunity. Shifts are Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. and volunteers can select which weeks they'd like to serve. Flexible schedules are available. Training/support will be provided by a specific staff lead, though a SLI Counselor application is required to be submitted, reviewed and approved before beginning.
