Curation/Exhibits

Working alongside MOAS dedicated staff, our exhibit and curation volunteers help bring to life the many different exhibits and curations available at the Museum. Anyone with experience in carpentry, electricity, general construction, or any other basic building skills, as well as past curation or collection expertise, are invited to help with the development and maintenance of our many onsite offerings.

Volunteers focus on building out the Museum's exhibits and assist the curation team with general construction, carpentry, electricity and other build-out needs. Past curation and collection expertise is also welcomed. Most project build-outs take place Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with shifts ranging from 2-5 hours depending on the assignment. Specific training/support will be provided by staff upon arrival, though prior work experience may be required.
