The MOAS marketing and development team is looking for volunteer support to manage VIP events, including private openings for new exhibits. Volunteers will help set-up and stage tables, greet guests at the door, assist in the member check-in process, along with other event day tasks.
This volunteer position will partner with MOAS staff to interact with our highest-value guests, including donors. Volunteers will be trained in the process and best practices.
Here are the upcoming opportunities:
- April 3: VIP members only opening of Shootsy Bugs from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p,m.
- Event space set-up, including table staging and decorating with NO heavy lifting required
- April 3: VIP members only opening of Shoosty Bugs from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Help greet guests, manage the check-in table and the reveal of the new exhibit
Opportunity Overview
- Training: You'll meet your event lead in the main lobby of the Museum of Arts & Sciences for an overview of the evening.
- Duties: Greet guests, check-in guests, and help in revealing the new exhibit.
