Volunteers lead adult and school tours throughout the Museum. Must be part of the MOAS Docent program to register for these shifts, which includes on-site training and at home study sessions. Skills needed include public speaking, the ability to retain information, and the self-motivation to learn and research education topics. Perfect spot for those who are open to continued learning, like public speaking and love sharing information about art, science and history.
Opportunity Overview
Tour guide(s) may lead the Highlights Tour, Audubon Tour, and new upcoming tours that are currently being planned.
- Shift Times: Most tours last between 1-2 hours, depending on the requests.
- General: Tours are scheduled during standard Museum hours: Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
