Come join the fun and help the MOAS team host the very popular wine tasting events!
Throughout the year, MOAS hosts wine tastings and catered events. Each event is themed to match the latest exhibit of the season. Many times these events are sold out and are community favorites.
MOAS volunteers will work alongside staff to greet event guests and socialize while serving wine and light food, along with general duties. These include table scape design, setup, guest check-in, food and wine service, general guest assistance, and event breakdown. These are one-time, event-based shifts:
- Wine and Wonder: Shoosty Bugs | June 26
- Volunteer Roles: greeter / check-in, wine bar attendant, servers, and table scape decorating/set-up before the event opens.
- Event support from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Please dress in all black, if possible
- This event is being held in the main MOAS building where the Shootsy exhibit is displayed.
- A pre-event planning meeting will be scheduled to discuss roles and run of show timeline.

Opportunity Overview
- Shift: Event times will vary. Please see above for the specific event you are interested in. Please arrive 10 minutes early.
- Training: Pre-event training meeting may take place 2 weeks before the event.
- Duties: Greet members and check them in for the event while serving wine, food, and light snacks. Help the MOAS staff clean-up at the close of the event. Additional opportunities may be available to help stage, decorate, and setup the space. You can register to support just the event or both the event and setup.
- Benefits: While it's not guaranteed, many of our volunteers enjoy food and wine from the event.
- Dress Code: Business casual to cocktail attire is recommended. All black attire is recommended, if possible.
