The Summer Learning Institute (SLI) focuses on art, science, and history, with many interactive and engaging learning experiences for students 5-13 years of age. All classes are taught by education professionals over an eight-week schedule with assistance from this volunteer opportunity. Shifts are Monday through Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. and volunteers can select which weeks they'd like to serve. Flexible schedules are available.
Training/support will be provided by a specific staff lead, though a SLI Counselor application is required to be submitted, reviewed and approved before beginning.
Applications are available at moas.org and can be submitted to volunteers@moas.org.
